Registering is a snap, with instructions that even YOU can follow:

1) Send an email to dcscavengerhunt@gmail.com with your team name, team members (as many as are known), and specify who your team captain is.

2) Pay the entry fee ($10 per person) using the Google Checkout menu and “Buy Now” button below.  We promise it’s not complicated and there are a bunch of different payment options.  If for some reason you have trouble (or don’t want to pay via Google Checkout), email us and we’ll help you sort it all out.

It’s much easier for us if your whole team signs up at once (we’re easily confused), but if you need to add someone later, you can do that too by selecting the “Add 1 person to an existing team” option in the menu below, then clicking the “Buy Now” button.  You’ll also have to send us an email with name of the person and the name of the team they are joining.

All racers must be 21 or older.

All racers have read the official rules.

All racers should have some form of insurance (listen, you are agreeing to a 5k race involving shopping carts… there are some risks beyond loss of dignity).

All racers agree to be responsible for their own actions during the day.  We are not your Mom.  Don’t make us spank you.

Extremely Important:  All teams must be registered by 11:59pm on Wednesday, June 27.

That’s all there is to it!  Once you’ve registered, we’ll send you all of the info you need for the race!

If you’d like to race, but can’t scrounge up enough friends willing to make fools of themselves, send us an email at dcscavengerhunt@gmail.com, subject line “Find me a home”, and we’ll put you in touch with others who need a team or a mate.

If you want to add a person (or people) to an existing team after online registration has closed, you can do it when you check in on the day of the Hunt.
